The investment holding company PURPOSIA Group was recognized in this year’s edition of the “Diamonds of Czech Business 2026” competition. At a regional awards ceremony for the Moravian-Silesian and Olomouc regions, the company received an award in the “Global Leader” category for the Moravian-Silesian Region. This category recognizes companies that contribute to the development of regions and local communities, bring know-how and technological innovations, invest in infrastructure—thereby improving the quality of life in the area—collaborate with universities, and strengthen the competitiveness of the entire economy. Purposia Group has succeeded in all of these areas, proving that it can fulfill all its commitments and is a stable player on the Czech market.
“The Diamonds have a single goal—to show that there are thousands of long-term successful companies across all sectors in the Czech Republic that we can be proud of. Their success, which often extends far beyond the country’s borders, is primarily the result of hard work,” says Eva Frindtová, co-founder and managing director of the COT group agency.
The Global Leader category is a new addition to the Diamonds of Czech Business project, and this year PURPOSIA joined the ranks of BRAINMARKET, Tatra Trucks, BRANO GROUP, Laski, and Remarkplast Services in this category. All awardees received glass plaques, Charles IV silver medals from the Czech Mint, and glass ornaments from the Koulier Christmas Craft Glassworks.
“We’ve added a new feature for the fifth year as well. In the Diamond Ranking, we still recognize Czech companies—that is, those with majority Czech ownership. But there are also a number of Czech companies with a strong global reach, as well as many international firms that contribute not only to the Czech business environment but also to their regions. It is only fair to recognize the best among them as well, which is why the Global Leader category was created,” says Gabriela Ben Ahmed, co-founder and managing director of the organizing agency.
Only companies headquartered in the Czech Republic may be included in the ranking; these must have a turnover ranging from 150 million to 5 billion Czech korunas, publicly available financial statements for the last three years, and an ultimate owner that is at least half Czech.
The data for the awards was processed by the renowned expert firm CRIF – Czech Credit Bureau a. s. The project is held under the auspices of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín (Faculty of Management and Economics).
