Participation in EXPO 2025 in Osaka presented a unique opportunity to gain new expertise in automation and robotics and to establish inspiring international connections with the potential for long-term cooperation.

Our journey to Osaka

In the Land of the Rising Sun, we proudly represented not only our Group, but Czech construction as a whole. Follow the latest innovations, 3D concrete printing projects, and collaborations with Japanese partners on our profiles.

How we benefited from EXPO 2025

Know-how and innovation

We did not only find inspiration in Japan, but we brought back real-world experience. We visited several manufacturing plants specializing in aluminum structures and precast concrete elements, comparing technologies and production processes. What we learned confirmed that we are certainly not lagging behind in automation and construction robotics. On the contrary, PURPOSIA Group is keeping pace with the global leaders.

Our new subsidiary Coral Construction Technologies turned many heads. Thanks to its 3D concrete printing technology, Coral delivers architecturally distinctive structures combining high aesthetic value, quality, and speed. The technology makes it possible to create original, nature-inspired forms that are attracting the attention of professionals and the public alike around the world. Interest in this innovation was particularly strong in Japan. As a result, we have decided to host a conference in Osaka and Tokyo in spring 2026, where we will present 3D concrete printing technology to Japanese business leaders and municipal representatives.

Strategic partnerships

EXPO 2025 gave us the chance to establish and deepen a number of strategic partnerships across business, municipal authorities, and academia. Jan Hasík regularly attended the exhibition, developing relationships with partners throughout Japan – from technology companies to representatives of cities and universities.

During the Expo, PURPOSIA DAY held at the Czech Pavilion served as a platform for connecting Czech and Japanese experts in construction, innovation, and sustainable development.

Knowledge without borders

Our delegation was joined by representatives of the University of Ostrava and VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, institutions we have long collaborated with on research and development projects.

Participation in the Expo allowed them to establish contacts with leading Japanese institutions such as Osaka University and Kyoto University, opening up new opportunities for joint projects and student exchange programs.

A shared quest for experience

Over the course of the Expo, we sent more than 60 employees from PURPOSIA Group on trips to Japan. They took part in technical tours and visits to production plants and workshops that allowed them to discover the Japanese construction industry firsthand and bring back valuable insights for practical application at home.
