A Look Back at J&T Beach Volleyball Ostrava

The J&T Banka Ostrava Beach Pro is a major sporting event for all visitors, when the world’s best players converge on Ostrava and the city comes alive with top-level sports for a time. PURPOSIA Group was there as the main partner. For us, however, it was above all an opportunity to enjoy some great team-building across the entire holding company against the backdrop of the Dolní oblast Vítkovice district and amid the fantastic atmosphere of a world-class tournament.

In the PURPOSIA Group zone, visitors had the chance to relax between matches; games were set up for them, and most importantly, there was a photo booth where every fan could take a picture with the tournament trophies awarded to the winning pairs. This allowed them to take home a unique memento of the event and enter a raffle for tickets to the Colours of Ostrava festival, of which we are also a partner.

SK Facility players took home the challenge trophy

Teams representing HSF System, PREFA ONV, SK Facility, a PURPOSIA Group selection, and the “Klokan” team—made up of our colleagues from KLM Real Estate—participated in the holding company tournament.

After some dramatic rallies, the SK Facility team ultimately emerged victorious and became the first in history to receive the traveling trophy crafted by Radovan Šťastný—similar to those taken home from Ostrava by the winning pairs and stars of world beach volleyball.
