HSF System SK has built a department store in Považská Bystrica

The residents of Považská Bystrica can look forward to more convenient shopping and services in one place. HSF System SK, part of the international construction group HSF System, was the general contractor for the construction of a new department store in Považská Bystrica, including complete infrastructure and technology. The financial volume of the contract was EUR 1.89 million excluding VAT. The investor is OC Bpark PB s.r.o.

The new retail space will expand local amenities and improve the availability of services for the city and surrounding communities. “Our goal was to create a functional and well-organized space that will serve tenants and visitors well in the long term. We focused on simple operational solutions and high-quality workmanship that will stand up to heavy use,” says Tomáš Kosa, CEO of the international construction group HSF System.

The complex offers a total commercial area of 2,419 m² and an additional 790 m² of paved areas. The shopping center is designed as a compact building with a uniform structural solution, a common roof, and a unified facade. The layout allows for the separate operation of individual retail units. The building uses a prefabricated reinforced concrete skeleton, and the facade is made of sandwich panels. Glazed entrances provide plenty of daylight and better orientation for customers.

The shopping center was built in an already established commercial location, is easily accessible, and naturally connects to the existing transport and technical infrastructure. It offers customers a well-organized environment and the opportunity to do their daily shopping quickly and comfortably. “We wanted to offer this part of the city a practical shopping center that would really make everyday life easier for people, while also bringing services and businesses that were not previously available in the city. We placed emphasis on good accessibility, a clear layout, and a logical connection to the existing commercial zone,” adds Ing. Vladimír Baránek, representative of the investor OC Bpark PB s.r.o.

The project also included the construction of roads, parking spaces, and other paved areas. Supplies are handled separately to ensure the smooth and safe movement of customers within the complex.
