HSF System SK was responsible for the turnkey construction of the large Hornbach shopping center in Trnava. Customers have been able to visit the center since April of this year. The investor behind the €17.1 million (excluding VAT) project was Hornbach Immobilien SK-BW.
HSF System SK, part of the international construction group HSF System, handled the complete construction of the complex, including underground parking, technology, and infrastructure. “A project of this scale requires perfect coordination of both the construction and technological aspects. It was important to us that the entire facility functioned smoothly from the very opening and provided customers with a truly comfortable and practical environment,” says Tomáš Mydlo, Production Director at HSF System SK.
HSF System SK carried out the turnkey delivery from June 2025 to April 2026. The shopping center, with a total retail area of 17,600 m², includes the main store, an outdoor garden center, and an extensive 5,500 m² drive-in zone. The complex is complemented by underground parking for 88 vehicles, paved areas and roads, and water features.
The new Hornbach, located in a retail and industrial zone near the Trnava bypass, offers customers a comfortable shopping environment and a wide range of products. The new store also incorporates modern technologies and energy-saving features, such as LED lighting and a heat recovery system.
