HSF System and Prefa ONV are building a new sports hall for Lanškroun

The sports hall currently under construction in Lanškroun is another project on which the HSF System and Prefa ONV construction groups are collaborating. Cooperation within the holding company ensures investors smooth supply chains and adherence to deadlines. The hall should be completed by the end of this year.

The project envisages a multifunctional sports hall measuring 45 × 25 meters, which will allow for the simultaneous placement of three volleyball courts or the creation of one central court for various sports, such as volleyball, floorball, basketball, handball, and futsal. The hall will accommodate 200 or more spectators and will offer facilities not only for sports clubs, but also for schools and the general public.

The HSF System construction group is the general contractor for the project, and Prefa ONV is supplying the complete reinforced concrete structure and other concrete elements manufactured specifically for this project.

“The roof structure of the larger of the two buildings has been completely finished. The next phase will involve the delivery and compaction of aggregate, the installation of waterproofing and thermal insulation layers, and the subsequent concreting of structural layers. The smaller building has already been clad, and the installation of the aluminum facade has been completed. The roof structure will be installed in the near future. Inside, the rainwater and sewage drainage systems have been completed, and the structural layers under the insulation have been laid and compacted. A specialist company will then begin installing the insulation layers,” said site manager Radim Cizler from HSF System.

“We are also interested in smaller contracts such as sports halls, retail parks, and the like. We are fully satisfied with the smaller market segment, where we have no problem producing very specific elements or atypical shapes. For the hall in Lanškroun, we produced atypical openwork elements and concrete grandstand components, which were custom-made according to the architect’s requirements,” says Prefa ONV director Ilja Nikolov.

Work on the construction continued during the winter months, so the hall is now largely complete and work is continuing mainly on the interior.
