At the Colours of Ostrava festival press conference on Thursday, March 26, the festival organizers revealed a large part of the eagerly awaited program. PURPOSIA Group, as the general partner of the Meltingpot discussion stage, was there.
Festival Program Director Filip Košťálek presented the changes awaiting visitors to the 23rd edition. First and foremost, there will be a brand-new Steel Stage, which will offer a diverse international lineup of contemporary alternative music. The Meltingpot stage will also see some minor changes; fans of the talks will now find it in the Hlubina area near the main entrance.
“We see Meltingpot as a space where leading experts in their fields regularly appear among the speakers; personally, I enjoy lectures on technological innovations in other fields and various current social topics. I often take inspiration from these sessions, which is why I’m glad that PURPOSIA Group is this year’s Meltingpot partner. We have long sought to support activities related to social responsibility, and from our perspective, Meltingpot’s program aligns with this vision. At the same time, we are pleased that we will be able to present the fascinating innovative technology of 3D concrete printing, which has the potential to significantly impact the construction sector, contemporary architecture, and design,” says Jan Hasík, CEO of PURPOSIA Group.
Organizers expect more than 150 speakers from the fields of science, business, culture, media, and public life. The festival has already announced three dozen speakers, with more confirmed names being added every week. The discussions will offer a view of the contemporary world from many angles—ranging from technological innovations shaping the future of industry, through issues of geopolitical security, to topics such as mental health, education, and social responsibility.
And we are proud to be part of the community and partners of this exceptional debate platform.
