The unsightly shell on Biskupská Street will be transformed into cozy housing

Ostrava’s “Little Copenhagen” is becoming a sought-after place to live. The HSF System construction group will transform an unsightly, dilapidated building shell into a modern residential complex near Masaryk Square.

The Biskupská Residence, currently under construction at the corner of Kostelní náměstí and Biskupská streets in the very heart of the city near Komenský Park and the Ostravice River, will offer up to 57 apartments.

HSF System is the general contractor for the project and is currently carrying out the initial phase of construction. Its priority is the comprehensive rehabilitation and reprofiling of the degraded reinforced concrete shell and the reconstruction of the foundation structure. Structural reinforcement and an increase in the load-bearing capacity of the foundation slab will be achieved through approximately 200 jet grouting elements.

The investor and developer is Pascerex real. The planned apartments, ranging in size from 1+kk to 5+kk, are already on sale, and there is significant interest in these apartments located in the heart of the city yet close to green spaces. The offering also includes exclusive apartments from the River View Collection with direct views of the river. The project features an elegant facade and large-format windows that will flood the interiors with natural light and visually connect the residence with the surrounding streets and the riverfront. The building will be equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, ranging from underfloor heating and heat recovery to smart home readiness. The underground parking garage will offer space for 22 cars, and the ground floor will include space for two commercial units measuring 150 and 400 m². Construction is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2027.
