Jan Hasík is the 2024 Construction Personality of the Moravian-Silesian Region

26. 2. 2026

Nela Parmová

An eleven-member independent expert jury composed of representatives of the Association of Entrepreneurs in Construction, the Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians, the Association of Architects, and the Moravian-Silesian Region, decided that the special award for the 19th annual Construction of the Moravian-Silesian Region would go to Jan Hasík, who takes home the title of Construction Personality of the Moravian-Silesian Region 2024.

“I really didn’t expect it. I was very pleased with the jury’s decision, especially because it recognizes a significant part of my career and at the same time reassures me that everything we have been doing for years at HSF System, PURPOSIA Group, and other companies in our holding company has been done honestly, professionally, and without any scandals, corruption, or political affairs. For me, it is proof that one must do business sustainably, responsibly, and honestly, and success will come on its own,” Jan Hasík responded immediately after the gala evening.

The Stavba MSK 2024 awards ceremony took place on Thursday, September 25, at the Kompresovna in Landek Park in Ostrava-Petřkovice. HSF System, founded by Jan Hasík in 2002, also took home two awards from the gala evening, one in the category of Buildings Constructed Outside the Moravian-Silesian Region, where the expert jury recognized the Hotel Zavadilka project in Prostřední Bečva, while the Porubka Point climbing center received a special jury prize.

Construction, premium transport, and 3D concrete printing

Jan Hasík is the founder and, since 2023, CEO of the PURPOSIA Group investment holding company, which oversees 43 subsidiaries. Together, they cover the entire construction process, from planning and surveying to construction and property management. The holding company includes established and proven players in the construction market such as HSF System, Pruniwek, PREFA ONV, FloorING, Facility SK, Bezecny, and the development company ANTRACIT. Last year, Foredeck joined the PURPOSIA Group family, the only company outside the construction industry, offering its customers private air and sea transport.

However, the latest acquisition this year is Coral Construction Technology, which was formed by the merger of engineering giant MTX Group and PURPOSIA Group. This merger brings a completely unique 3D concrete printing technology to the construction market.

“On the part of MTX Group, this is a sign of confidence in our abilities and professionalism. Moreover, the merger makes a lot of sense. Together, we are further developing 3D concrete printing technology, and we have plans for the future, primarily in the area of robotization and automation in construction, thereby responding to real and current demand,” notes Jan Hasík.

The subsidiaries of the PURPOSIA holding company operate in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and, since last year, also in Austria. However, the PURPOSIA Group has implemented projects in ten other European countries. The holding company, headed by Jan Hasík, employs more than 300 people and had annual sales of CZK 3.7 billion last year.

“Although I am a patriot of Ostrava, PURPOSIA Group is a European company with ambitions to become global,” says the recent laureate Jan Hasík. “At EXPO 2025 in Japan, we saw that there is interest in our projects, technologies, and know-how all over the world, so we are currently negotiating several projects outside Europe,” he concludes.

Who is Jan Hasík

Jan Hasík is a native of Ostrava and a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He gained his managerial experience in leading positions at OVAK a.s., the German multinational Bilfinger-Berger, and NRC a.s. He has been self-employed since 2002, when he founded the construction company HSF System, which focuses on general construction supplies and implements complete roofing and facade cladding for modern administrative, commercial, and industrial buildings, including their reconstruction. In 2022, he founded the investment holding company PURPOSIA Group a.s., which oversees a number of his other business activities.

Every year, he donates over 10% of the PURPOSIA Group’s profits to support culture, sports, and the development of civil society. His greatest hobbies are his family, learning about new cultures, and music, which he actively pursues as a guitarist in his rock band SKRAT.
